Artist Statement

My work emerges out of past experiences and current concerns, it touches on childhood and adult fears; of global warming, the horrors and fears of the war, as well as love and happiness.

My work often deals with pain and tries to provide a visual image and shape to an ineffable experience which one day might impacts us all.

This search also helped me to give form to my feelings about political issues such as war and terror or my concern about environmental issues like climate change, acid rain and global warming. The work deals with the effects of climate change and the possible ultimate destiny of Earth. I paint visionary landscapes of the time when apocalyptic events have happened, when our planet is due for a re-birth. However, I also try to capture happy moments like in the “young lovers” series.
